Frequently Asked Questions

Please reach us at commongroundstmam@gmail.com if you cannot find an answer to your question.

We are a non-profit charitable organisation growing a community wellbeing response for all people in Te Matau a Māui Hawke’s Bay. We aim to bring people together one cup at a time by creating a space that is by the community for the community.

Through mobile coffee carts and cafes, we will provide support and guidance for

those seeking connection and orange (wellbeing).

We aim to complement, not replace, professional mental health care by creating

spaces that reduce isolation and foster resilience. We do not offer therapy, diagnosis,

medical treatment, or crisis interventions, and our volunteers are not acting as

licensed mental health professionals.

If you require emergency mental health service, please call 0800 112334

or 1737 –mental Healthline hotline.

With your support, we can offer hope, connection, and practical assistance to those who feel alone. Your contribution allows us to create meaningful change in the lives of individuals, families, and communities across Hawke’s Bay and beyond.

Your donation assists us to keep common grounds running. This may include:

- general running of the coffee carts e.g. supplies, maintenance, petrol.

-Training volunteers

-Providing drinks and kai to those in need.
